Happiest of Birthdays for Paper Players #464

Hi Everyone.

Happy Sunday.  It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge and it's clean and simple week.

Screen Shot 2019-10-19 at 11.41.06I decided to make use of some of the new DSP I got from SU.  It's supposed to be Christmas paper, but I think that some of the images on the DSP work well for many other occasions.  I used a soft pink sheet for my card.

I used a die to die cut a piece of vellum.  I colored the vellum on the reverse side with a soft silvery/gold water color ink from Kuretake.   I let it dry and then stamped my sentiment onto it.

Here's my card:

Happiest of Birthdays (1 of 1)-3

I really love the softness of the background and know that I will get lots of use of it outside of Christmas.

As usual, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

I'll be back in a couple of days with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Card recipe:

DSP:  Feels like Frost – Stampin' Up!

Die:  Frosted Frames – Stampin' Up!

  1. Beautiful Jaydee and you’re so right – this paper works for so many other occasions besides Christmas. Along with that beautiful diecut frame, it really makes your sentiment shine.

  2. Gorgeous, Jaydee! That sentiment is beautiful, especially with those pretty background papers and that wonderful frame! Thanks for making my challenge look great!

  3. Jaydee, this is soooooo gorgeous! I love the gorgeous DSP for your background! I agree, it makes all types of cards! The vellum frame is fabulous! I just might have to order this DSP! Have a fabulous rest of the week, My Friend! XX
