Altenew Garden Cosmos for Altenew November 2025 Inspiration Challenge

Happy Monday.

I hope you all had a wonderful fall weekend. The weather continues to be absolutely glorious here. Almost no wind, temps in the mid to high 50s and lots of sunshine. Mind you, it’s going to take me about a month to get used to falling back the clocks! It did mean that I got to spend an extra hour in my craft room today though. I played along with the Altenew November 2025 color challenge, and it was the perfect opportunity to bring out my Garden Cosmos dies again. This time I paired them with an Altenew embossing folder called Sweet Harvest, and the Altenew Fine Frames.

The soft and bright pinks were perfect for the cosmos dies. I die-cut those using Shimmer White cardstock, and then inked all the elements. Although you can’t really see it, the shimmer card stock has a very soft look and is a warm, pinkish, off-white. I thought it would be perfect for these colors.

I used the embossing folder with a piece of Neenah Solar White 80# cardstock and adhered that to the card base. I then die-cut the frame using the Fine Frames set and popped it up with foam tape. I then arranged the flowers and adhered/popped them as appopriate and finished them off with some clear dewdrop gems. All I had to do was add a sentiment and the card was finished.

I just love that embossing folder. It adds so much wonderful texture, and I must admit, I’m also crazy about the fine frames.
