Coastal Escape for Paper Players #693

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week.  The bright color scheme inspired me to bring out a new die set called Coastal Escape from Spellbinders.  Here's a sneak peek:

And here is Joanne's bright and cheerful color choices:

Lemon Lolly is generally too bright for me, but paired with the blue I really liked it.  For my extra color I chose shades of Coral as I thought it worked really well with the others and added a little warmth.

I die cut the images and added some watercolors with a brush to add the color.  I used the old Stampin' Up! embossing folder, Seabed, as the background.   Here's my full card:

As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

I'll be back later in the week with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. What a FUN card, Jaydee! I absolutely LOVE the embossing folder. It is just perfect for your underwater scene. Just perfect to make someone smile! Have a great weekend, My Friend!

  2. I love this underwater scene Jaydee (that EF is one of my all-time favourites). I think the yellow fish works really well for a bright pop of colour, without being too overwhelming. Great job with my challenge this week!

  3. Adorable, Jaydee! I love peering through the porthole at the underwater scene you’ve created. What a great way to use the challenge colors!
