Happy Saturday.
It’s the fabulous Ceal’s turn to host our Addicted to CAS Challenge this week and her code word is perfecting timing for our final challenge of the year.
I was inspired to bring out a die that I received as part of the Crafty Box I was lucky to get from Jennifer McGuire. It’s called Tri-fold Edge of Village from Hero Arts.
Here’s a sneak peek:

And here’s Ceal’s code word for our challenge
Although the die is meant for a tri-fold, I didn’t want something that complicated. I used Neenah Solar White #110 to die-cut the tri-fold and then used only one part of it. I created a sunset background on a piece of cardstock to use as the background to my village.
I mounted the focal layer onto the card base with a couple of extra layers of spare cardstock and then mounted the village with some foam tape to give a little lift from the focal layer. All that was left to do was add the sentiment and some splatters using metallic watercolor paint.
Here’s my card:

Well, this is our final challenge of the year at Addicted to CAS. I’d like to wish all of our followers a wonderful festive season and we will see you back here for another Addicted to CAS challenge in 2026.
