Heart of Gold for Atlantic Heart Sketches #615

Happy Tuesday.

It's been a while since I have been able to play along with Atlantic Heart Sketches, so it was good to pop along to their site this week and see the great sketch they have given us.  Once I saw the element in the top left corner, I knew that I was going to bring out the Heart of Gold set from Pinkfresh Studio – again 🙂

I began by stamping and coloring the focal image.  I put a mat behind the focal layer – but you can only see it on two sides.  I popped up the focal element and had to cut off a little.  I didn't want to waste that, so I used that as the element above the sentiment as depicted on the sketch.  To pick up the black, I added the sentiment in embossed white onto a black strip of card stock.
