Happy Sunday and greetings from somewhere off the east coast of Vietnam!
It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and – once again – I managed to NOT see the CLEAN and SIMPLE on this challenge. Grrrrrr…. but… as I am thousands of miles away from my crafting goodies I'm stuck with it! Note to self… next time you are rushing to get things done before a trip – stop and read!!!!!
Here's a preview of my NOT SO clean and simple card!
And here is Joanne's challenge for this week:
Flowers and slimline were definitely a theme before I left. Am I the only one that gets into a rut and tends to use the same layout or elements? Or was it just because I was in such a rush and didn't have time to think of anything else??? Anyway, I pulled out an old set from the Greetery Botanicuts Hibiscus. I honestly don't think I have used this often at all and looking at this card I really wish I had stopped and added some shading!!!!
Anyway, here you go:
As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for youo:
I hope you will join us and play along this week. We would love to see what you create with Joanne's challenge. I'll be back in a couple of days with a catchup travel post – I'm way behind on that! In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Jaydee, these hibiscus are so lovely! They look real! Love the slim line look and the light gray makes it all pop! I hope your journeys are fabulous this week! Love to you!
Jaydee your post made me chuckle – you were clearly ‘in the zone’ lol! Besides, you’re not too far off clean and simple – there are layers, but plenty of white space and no embellishments – and a nice good luck sentiment to boot! Those hibiscus do make a lovely centrepiece for sure. Happy onward travels!
Wow, Jaydee! What a stunning card! The hibiscus flowers are gorgeous. I LOVE the colors…so bright and cheery! The layered rectangles make a fabulous backdrop. Great job with the challenge!
