Happy Saturday and greetings from Cairns in Australia!
It's my turn t host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and I used fun negative die from Alexandra Renke called Pine Branch 4! Here's a sneak peek:
Oh… and here's the code word for this week's challenge:
Do any of us need an excuse to make a card for a friend :-). Hopefuly this week's challenge will inspire you to get into your craft space and make a clean and simple card for a friend.
My card came together very quickly. I used the die-cut to create a focal point on the card front. For the background I used an old Stampin' Up! brick embossing folder. I really wanted some texture behind the branch. I kept the colors to just blue and white with a touch of black for the sentiment. I popped up the front panel to give a little distance between the base and the focal point. Easy peasy 🙂
Here's my card:
I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge. As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you and you can check out all their cards – and submit your own entry – on our blog right here.
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card and an update on my Oz trip. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
