I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It was absolutely glorious here in Minnesota and we made the most of the gorgeous weather to enjoy the garden and the animals that visit us. Today I got to play along with a couple of challenges and first up is the Color Challenge across at Sunday Stamps. I managed to use all the colors with the Underwater Tunnel and Underwater Marine Life dies from Spellbinders.
Oh, lots of glorious, bright, summery colors! Here’s the Sunday Stamps color challenge badge:

I know I didn’t have to use all the colors, but I loved them together – and they are so far outside of my comfort zone!!! I immediately thought of the aquatic dies that I got as part of the Spellbinders BOGO sale. I bought the underwater tunnel dies and the accompanying Underwater Marine Life came free.
So – a very rare thing for me – NO STAMPING! I die-cut all the elements from Neenah 110# card stock and blended the colors with my brushes. I die-cut the tunnel itself with Sea Glass cardstock from The Stamp Market and added some blending with the same color ink just to give a light shading.
I layered all the pieces together and then die-cut the front panel from Spellbinders Alabaster cardstock. This cardstock is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors. It’s just off-white and not too creamy. Love it! To finish off my card I used some sequins and added a subsentiment from Waffleflower to complete the look.
Here’s my card:

I know the design team at Sunday Stamps would love you to play along – and they have some wonderful inspiration cards for you on the challenge site. I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
