Happy Saturday.
It’s the fabulous Helen’s turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a fun code word for us. I was inspired to ink up a die cut from the Waffle Flower Birdie friends and pair it with an old stencil from The Greetery.
Here’s a sneak peek:

Honestly, I’ve had this snowflake stencil in my stash for years and don’t get to use it very often, but it was a necessity for our code word this week 🙂
I began my card by die-cutting the branch and the bird. I colored the bird with the matching stencil and then added color to the branch with my Copic markers. I then used two shades of blue to create the snowflake pattern around the edges of the card. All that was left to do was to adhere the branch and bird, and then add a sentiment.
Here’s my full card:

We would love to see what YOU create with Helen’s code word. As always, our design team has some fabulous inspiration for you.
I’ll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Card recipe:
- Dies: Birdie in Winter – Waffle Flower
- Stencil: Frosty Flakes – The Greetery

What a sweet scene. I love your cute bird all bundled up. The snowflake border is soft and wintry. All the components tie in to make a beautiful, cozy scene. 🐦
Adorable! He’s got joy in his heart, and makes me smile while he’s at it
