Happy Wednesday.
I have a few variations on the same layout – with the same set – for you tonight. Christmas Selfies from My Favorite Things is such a fun set. It was perfect to make multiples of for both SendASmile4Kids – and also for seniors to send out to their grandkids. So, I stamped up the images, did some very simple coloring, and add lots of glimmer and shine – but not with real glitter. One set of requests asked for holiday/winter themed cards but no Merry Christmas. On the other hand, another request was to HAVE Merry Christmas! So, I made multiples of both.
It was a great excuse to pull out some of the DSP that I don't use very often. So, I paired the non-Merry Christmas ones with DSP. Here are a couple of examples:
This DSP from last year reminds me of striped pajamas my Dad used to wear! My next card uses some In Color DSP:
Bumble Bee really is one of my favorite yellows. I love the depth of the color.
My next examples feature one of my favorite Dies from the Loyal Leaves dies. I added it to the bottom and top and love the detail it adds to a plain card base.
I'll be back on Friday with Day 6 of 12 cards of Christmas – this time with variations on a theme with the Stampin' Up! Wishes and Wonder.
