Hey Chick for Addicted to CAS #152

Hi Everyone

Happy Saturday.  Greetings from the depths of cold in what has felt like Siberia this week!

Tonight's card is for our AddictedtoCAS Challenge.  It's the turn of the very talented Vicki to host our challenge and she has a code word that I loved 🙂

How could I not enjoy playing around with that code word?  I decided to go REALLY clean and simple on this card.

I brought out my old Hey Chick set from Stampin' Up!  (I will NEVER get rid of this set!). This silly chick makes me smile everytime I see him.  I was tempted to put a frame around him – but decided to leave it alone.  But… I really was tempted to "do" something to it.  :-). He's just so cute he deserves to take center stage!

I stamped him onto Neenah Solar White #80 card stock, colored him with my Copic Markers and then mounted that onto a 110# panel.  I didn't want to color directly on my panel as the Copic Markers do bleed through.

I hope he makes you smile 🙂

Hey Chick ATCAS (1 of 1)

I hope you will join us and play along this week.  As usual, our fabulously talented design team have some wonderful inspiration for you, including our guest designer Sandie Munro

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. He did make me smile, but what arrived in my mailbox yesterday made me smile even more. Thank you for the stamp set that you sent which I won in your recent blog candy. How perfect is “Winterscapes” from Ellen Hutson’s Essentials. With the weather we had here in Wisconsin last week (-50 degrees windchill one morning) it was right on. The card that was with it was extra special. Thank you again.

  2. Marilyn, so glad it arrived and I hope you have lots of fun playing with it. Hopefully you are a little warmer today. It was glorious Saturday and back down to -20 this morning!
