Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday.
It's my pleasure to host our Paper Players challenge this week – and it's theme week. I thought the theme was perfect for those of you who are (like me) procrastinators… and still have Christmas cards to make? Please don't tell me that I am the only person who still needs to finish their Christmas cards!
Here's the challenge – with another awesome badge from Nance.
On a personal note:
YAY! I managed to go into my craft room and make…. let me count them….. two… yes, two cards. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's more than I have made in the last 4 weeks! Consequently, I will have some cards to share with you this week.
I also finished decorating the house. It was already feeling nice and cozy, but needed just a couple of finishing touches. This year, we ended up with a red and gold theme. Now, I have to tell you, I am NOT a gold person. I don't even wear gold jewellery… but there was something about a cushion that I saw at Pier 1 that just sold me on this color scheme. Also, it fits really well with the gorgeous angels that we have had since we moved into our "new" house in 2012. I will be sharing some photos with the Christmas cards later this week. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Such a fun Card Jaydee! I love the colors combo you used as well. You are not alone in needing to finish up those Christmas card, so this challenge was very timely indeed. I’m glad you had some time in your craft room, too. two cards are better than none, right? Have a great day today!
Jaydee I just love that snowman stamp – and Laurie’s colours work perfectly! I think overlaying the sentiment was a great idea – far too nice to hide on the inside, it deserves centre stage! I think your challenge is going to be a popular one this week. Looking forward to seeing your house decorations too!
That snowman stamp is fabulous and I like the sentiment overlaid. The berries and scarf pop right out at you. I like the way he looks to be painted on the page. Just beautiful, Jaydee.
That snowman stamp is so awesome…and it does look great in those colors! I love the font on the sentiment too.
THis snowman is STUNNING….that is, if you can consider a snowman stunning! Anyway, I love the image, might have to go look for him myself! Love the “bigness” of him as well as that sentiment! Can’t wait to see your house all dolled up too!
What is the name of the sentiment? Is it also Penny Black? Love it, would like to use it.
Linda, it is a fabulous sentiment, isn’t it? It’s also from Penny Black and you can find it here https://shop.pennyblackinc.com/p/love-peace

Jaydee…I am actually laughing out loud. My mother was ALSO inspired by a pillow at Pier 1 this year! You are a better person than me… I have not decorated. I have the outside wreath done… and the poinsettias are waiting by the pots to be planted (remember I live in Florida!). There are piles of presents to wrap, TAGS to make, baking… but thankfully the cards are done. BTW…love your snowman…so swooshy. I smiled when I saw it was a Penny Black stamp. Good luck… I will be thinking of you!
Jaydee I recognized the colors from the other week right away, and what great use you made of them. What a beautiful job you did of stamping and coloring the snowman, and that sentiment is awesome. Not only does the scale of it work perfectly, but it’s such a wonderful wish. Thanks for a great challenge this week!
super nice cas card
congrats Jaydee
thanks so much for your comment in my blog
have a great weekend
Oh Jaydee, this is fabulous! I have to have the stamp and sentiment! Thank you for enabling me! I love this snowman and the color combo is perfect! Did you use Copic Markers on the scarf. I think you should frame this jolly man! XXX
