Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous LeeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week – and it's Clean and Simple Week.
I love the badge that Nance created and immediately knew that I had to pull out my silly elf stamp. He makes a showing every year and he always makes me smile.
It was such an easy card to create. I stamped the image onto Neenah Solar White card stock and colored it with my Copic Markers. I mounted the finished panel onto a Neenah 110# card base.
Here's my card:
Of course, I had to add some areas of shimmer and shine
I left the inside clean and simple, too:
I hope you will join us and play along this week. As always, the design team have some gorgeous inspiration to share with you:
On a personal note:
I don't know about you all, but I am finding it harder and harder to get into my craft room these days. there's just so much going on and I seem to have so little time to craft and I also find it harder and harder to make a card when I get into my craft room. It really does seem that the less I play, the less inspired I am. As I have a 5 day weekend coming up, I am hoping that I can get into my room and play. We will also be changing out the fall decorations for Christmas decorations this coming weekend. It's hard to believe that it is just 5 weeks away!
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

This has to be one of the cutest cards ever, Jaydee! Not only is the image cute, the inside sentiment had me in stitches! LOVE it!
This is adorable and funny as heck, Jaycee! I laughed out loud at this image! You did such a great job of colouring and placement!
A Christmas Story! So cute.
LOL…such a cute image and sentiment! Love it! I feel the same as you lately…so hard to create even when I have the time.I put up my decorations today!
What a fun card, Jaydee! I love this fun elf and sentiment, and you’ve colored it perfectly. As always, your cards are perfectly CAS, too. PS: Neenah is my favorite card stock to color on, also!
Oh! He makes me smile too! Fabulous! Love the way you’ve pushed the design over to one side – white space abounds! And the glimmery snow – even better. This is a CAS wonder!
LOL, of course, your little elf reminds me of my favorite Christmas movie!! And the inside sentiment is perfect as well! Thanks for the giggle!
This is adorable! And I love the inside sentiment…lol….
omg, this cracked me up! Such a cute card!! Love your design and perfect white space layout. Would you mind sharing the stamp source? Prob’ly a long shot, but I’d love to add this silly elf to my collection, and this would be a fun card to make for my “baby” brother. He’s now 55+, but we *still* make him “elf” on Christmas Eve to pass out all the gifts. 🤪
Firstly, I just loved this card Jaydee – and when I saw the sentiment that goes with it, that made me laugh out loud! This so reminds me of Rebecca; she has always been a ‘I wonder what will happen if …?’ kind of child, and this is so the kind of thing she would do!! I showed her your card and she totally identified with it. I’m with you on the creativity thing; I’ve been really busy these last few weeks and time to craft and then blog too has been sparse (that is also why I am so behind with my DT comments :-/ ) It definitely follows that the longer the gap between makes, the harder it is to get started. I hope you are enjoying a fabulous long Thanksgiving weekend and are finding the time to craft and rediscover your creative joy!
Jaydee, your card just makes me smile! That little image is adorable and the sentiment inside is too cute. I especially love the shimmery details. Enjoy your 5 day weekend and hopefully you can get some crafty time in. Hugs! 🙂
Jaydee, this is the cutest card! I love that little elf with his tongue on the candy cane! Reminds me of the Christmas Story and Ralphie on the playground! All the shimmer and shine is gorgeous, too! The inside is too funny! XXX
Hi Lynn
I LOLd about your baby brother being Elf! I bet that’s a very fun Christmas Eve. The stamp is an old one from the rubber cafe called Santa’s workshop. I tried looking for it for you, but they seem to have gone out of business. I couldn’t find one on e-bay either. I sent you an email on it, so check that out.
