Ho to the Power of 3

Hi Everyone.  Happy Tuesday.

A quick and fun card for you tonight.  The fabulous Kylie is having challenge across at Happy Little Stampers – and – looking at the badge, how could I not play along!

I mean…. I do seem to have been a little obsessed with watercoloring of late and I wanted to pull out an old stamp from Simon Says Stamp and create a card for one of my animal loving friends.

Here's my take on the challenge:

Ho3 (1 of 1)

I had such fun coloring this image with my Zig Real Brush markers – I do love that the colors look so vibrant.   You can't see it on this photo, but I did watercolor the background around the animals with pale blue.

I also used my Crystal Accents to add shimmer to the noses and ornaments:

I hope you will pop along to Kylie's Happy Little Stampers site and check out her wonderful range of stamps and goodies, too.

On a personal note:

Still warm here….. Looks like we have a storm coming in later in the week, but it is currently on track to miss us and go further south of the state.  A part of me is really hoping it moves back north and gives us some snow!!!!

I had to share this photo with you of the juvenile Cardinal:

Juvenile cardinal (1 of 1)

What a raggedy looking thing…. but I am so thrilled they are around and that planting the evergreens gave them a place to nest – and to shelter in winter.

Sometimes, I get up in the morning and am amazed by what I see – especially when the sky looks like this:

Sunrise (1 of 1)

Absolutely worth getting up for – and it was really early, too – as you can see by the fact that all the trees are still in shadow!

I'll be back with another card tomorrow.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Card recipe:
