Mid Mod City for Addicted to CAS #291

Happy Friday.

It’s another clean and simple challenge across at Addicted to CAS and our hostess Vicki has a great codeword for us.  I was inspired to ink up a set that I got for winning a challenge across at Time Out.  It’s a set called Mid Mod City.  It comes with two different stamps and I used the one that has very geometric shapes – long skinny rectangles 🙂

Here’s a sneak peek:

And here’s Vicki’s code word:

I began by stamping the image with my ink and then heat setting it with clear embossing powder.  That gave a nice shine to the buildings.  I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment and adhered that over the buildings using foam squares.  To complement the sentiment I added a single pink heart.

Here’s my card:

So lots of geometric shapes here. Squares, rectangles, triangles and circles :-). I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge. We would love to see what you create with Vicki’s code word.

Card recipe:

  • Stamp: Mid Mod City – Claire Brennan
  • Cardstock: Fog – Spellbinders

I’ll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs
