Happy Monday.
How had I missed that there was a challenge dedicated to floral images!!! Me? With too many floral stamps???! Anyway, I found it :-). I played along with the gorgeous color inspiration at the Flower Challenge this week and it inspired me to ink up my Playful Petals from Pinkfresh Studio.

Aren't those turquoises and various oranges just gorgeous! I loved the dripping colors above and below the focal image, so tried to incorporate that using my two step chevron stencil in the background.
For my card, I stamped the image and then colored it with the matching stencils. I stamped the flowers twice as there is a separate stamp for those. I put one flower on top of the original for a little depth and dimension. I added the background stenciling and a sentiment and my card was complete.

I just love those colors and will definitely be keeping an eye open for the upcoming challenges at the Flower Challenge.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a lift tonight. My prayers to all those families affected by the devastating flooding in Texas. It's hard to even imagine the impact this is going to have and I so admire those who are still working so hard to try to help find those that have been lost to give closure to their families.

Jaydee, this is a beautiful card! The dainty flowers and leaves are so sweet and I love how you used the drips to inspire the stenciling in the background.
