Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday.
I have a quick post for you tonight.
I was really excited about the Simon Says Stamp March card kit. It has some of my favorite colors – black, yellow, white and grey and it has a stamp set geared towards friendship. Perfect!
I wanted to make a clean and simple card and let the sentiment and the flowers from the set take center stage.
I began by stamping two of the flowers in bright, bold colors and then fussy cut around them. I added some Wink of Stella glitter pen to the flowers to give them some shimmer and shine and finished off the inside of the flowers with some Ranger Black Enamel Accents.
I inked up the "friend" stamp in StazOn black ink and stamped it onto the focal layer. I then placed that layer onto the card base and added the flowers. I really wanted to pop them but, as this card is going through the post, I wanted to make sure that it got to its destination without messing up the flowers!
Here's my card:
I love how the Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle dies frame the focal layer and the card base. I don't seem to be able to stop using them!!!
I'll be back on Friday with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs for those of you who need a little lift tonight. Colleen, I hope you are staying warm down in Texas!!!!!
As a reminder…. Great Blog candy still on offer! Check out this post
Hugs
Jaydee

I just ordered this kit too, Jaydee! Can’t wait to play with it. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration. I always love your CAS beauties.
Such a lovely card and you are such a great inspiration.
The more I see of them stitched die frames, the more I’m falling in love with them.
Jaydee; I’m trying to stay warm. Have been staying indoors and not going anywhere. I’m really getting cabin fever. Hopefully this last winter blast we just had will be our last.
Have a great day and a wonderful weekend and don'[t forget to Spring Forward. (Oh, I hate this time changing)
Jaydee:
I think I lost my message. I was writing about my favorite saga. I am talking about Jean Auel’saga . . . Children of the Earth:
The Clan of the Cave Bear
The Valley of Horses
The Plains of Passage
The Mamooth Hunters
and I think I am missing the last title.
What I loved was the CAS manner of presenting the evolution of human mankind and the intelligence and courage of Ayla.
Much love.
