It's my turn to host the challenge at Addicted to CAS this week – the first challenge of 2015 and we have a few new team members joining us this year, as well as our guest designer for January – Julia.

This was a great opportunity to continue my New Year's resolutions for using items that are sitting in my cupboard. In this case it was the SU background stamp "World Map".
I stamped it onto vellum and put it behind a circle that I cut out of my top layer. I didn't have a sentiment that was exactly what I needed, so I opened up my word processing software and, voila! I had the sentiment I needed.
I paired it with an old wooden plane element that I have had in my stash for quite a while. I colored it with a Lost Lagoon marker to match the stamped world map.

On a personal note:
I'm sorry that this is such a short post, but my index finger had an accident with a door…. consequently I have my index finger "buddy" strapped to its neighbor and typing is very difficult. It takes me ages to type anything 🙂
I'm hoping to be back with my Paper Players card tomorrow, but that's totally dependent on whether or not I can actually create a card 🙂
In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers to those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Love your creation and SO sorry to hear about your finger! Curses on ANYTHING that keeps us from stamping! Meanwhile, I have a couple of ideas for this challenge….have to see if I can squeeze it in!

I love this map stamped on vellum, Jaydee! It makes me think of viewing from an airplane through a bit of mist! Love that stitching too. Hope your finger is all better. Ouch!
