From our Pad to Yours – Happy New Year

Hi Everyone.

Lou and I have just returned from an impromptu trip where we have spent 12 glorious days with our dearest friends.  It was simply wonderful, but it did mean that I was unable to get to post to my blog often – just in case you hadn't noticed 🙂

I will be back on my normal schedule starting this week, but I just wanted to pop in tonight to say that Lou and I wanted to wish all of you a very Happy New Year and hope that 2015 is filled with all of the wonderful things you wish for yourself.

Thank you to all of you for your support during 2014 – it means a great deal to me.

 I'll leave you with a photo from our bird bath ….

 Starlings sparrow bathtime (1 of 1)

and, with thanks to Colleen – I'll copy her New Year Poem as she left it as a comment for all of us.

My Happy New Year wish for you
Is for your best year yet,
A year where life is peaceful,
And what you want, you get.

A year in which you cherish
The past year’s memories,
And live your life each new day,
Full of bright expectancies.

I wish for you a holiday
With happiness galore;
And when it’s done, I wish you
Happy New Year, and many more.

With warmest hugs

Jaydee

    Lou , thank you for your hard work, you do when you come home.
    Scratch the fur-babies heads for me. God bless you all!

  6. What a lovely poem and New Year’s wish! I wish that for you too. Those are some hardy birds. Are they ice skating? LOL, we couldn’t believe the birds bathing in the puddle when it was in the 40s!

  7. :} Looks like the birds are enjoying their warm morning bath.
    Hope everyone had a wonderful New Years Eve.
    It’s rainy, cold and just miserable here. Some places had sleet along with ice covered roads yesterday. We got a few ice cycles but nothing serious in our area……..just Cold.
    More rain once again for today as well as tomorrow. We where in much need of the rain; but Not the cold temperatures. Keep the cold up north :}
    Enjoy your day and have a very wonderful evening and stay warm
