Hi Everyone. Happy Monday.
I have a request of all you wonderful card makers out there in blog land 🙂
I was on the demo side of splitcoaststampers and one of my fellow demos Angie showcased this story
Well, I certainly couldn't resist that request… make a birthday card for a little boy who loves Super Mario? I immediately went into my stamping room, looked for an image online…and I'm sure I'm breaking all sorts of copyright legal issues by printing off this image, but I am sure that the owners of Super Mario (and all his images), will forgive me for trying to make this little guy's wish come true 🙂
Here's the outside of my card
Then, as Danny can now recognize his written name, I knew that I had to include that on the inside of the card. My Digital Studio to the rescue! I opened up MDS and created the banner from the Make a Cake download and then used the ABC Alphabet Lower download to create his name.
Of course, I colored the banner flags using the blue and reds from Super Mario 🙂
Then, of course, I had to do a little something something more…. I took a gel marker and glittered the ribbon and the M on Mario's hat. I also stamped a little message on the envelope and my card was ready to go.
If you have a card and would like to send it to Danny to make his birthday wish come true, please check out the link with the details on where to send the card. All you need to do is click on Danny's photograph above and you will have all the details. I do hope that you will be able to send a card.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card and some more nature shots. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight, and special prayers for Danny and his family.
Hugs
Jaydee

Jaydee, you’re always so thoughtful in the creation of your cards. Danny is going to be beyond chuffed when he opens your envelope!
I’m off to check out that link here in a moment to see what I can do for Danny. Thank you so much for sharing!
