Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday.
It's really late here, but I wanted to show you a card I made using the silver glimmer paper… I SO love this stuff!
I used a die from PTI to make this quick and easy card. It's perfect for posting and could be made with any color glitter paper you wanted.
I really love the baubles and the fact that the sentiment is also in threes, seems to create a feeling of symmetry with the baubles!
On a personal note:
Lou and I were at the Royal Opera House watching Noel Coward's Private Lives. Now. How did we manage to get to the Royal Opera House in London for a performance last night? The magic of technology! A local (well 30 minutes away) – movie theatre was playing a televised performance of Noel Coward's play from the ROH. It was amazing! I've seen this play many times, but this version was so different. The pace of the play was much faster than normal, and there was a layer of intensity and emotion that was missing from many of the versions I had seen. It was amazing.
The night before that, we saw a movie with the always amazing Dame Judi Dench: A movie based on real events. It was called "Philomena". It was really an amazing movie and a story that spanned both the UK and America.
It was a great couple of nights from a cultural perspective. I feel so lucky to live where we do! Of course, the weather makes me realize how lucky we are, too. Cold. Very cold. But, oh, so beautiful! The sun is shining, the snow is sparkling….. incredibly picturesque. I really do love this time of the year in this neck of the woods. I know that Jeanne understands how I feel.
Colleen, I do so hope that things are much more back to normal in your neck of the woods. I have friends and colleagues down in Tx, and hear how tough it is!
I will be back on Saturday with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, thank you so much for your visit – and your comments. They REALLY do mean so much.
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Yes,things are getting better here. The snow and thick ice is almost gone in our yard and roads are so much better thanks to the sun being out the last couple days. Rain in forecast for today

This is so sweet, Jaydee. Love the simplicity and little bit of sparkle.
It was 18 on the back porch of our house this morning, but the trees are still so fairyland lovely. We are due for another big snowstorm tomorrow.
I do love the fireplace every night as I relax in the recliner and we don’t have to go anywhere during the day as we are RETIRED! Thought I’d tuck that barb in, then again we are no longer young at 79 and 80. You do have to swap some things in life. Yet, the health is fairly good and we feel blessed.
Loved the card today, simple yet elegant. Thank you, Jaydee.

What fun – I’m mentioned in your blog! Yup, love the snow and beauty around me. Enjoying the decorated houses too. My dog’s feet get cold out there, though. Love your card today, Jaydee – simple yet elegant. Stay warm.
Simple, sweet and silver glimmer paper. Perfection. I’m such a sucker for glimmer paper! ;o)
I’m jealous of all the fun you’ve been having! :oP
Hugs!
