Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. Yes… we are on the countdown to the weekend!
I have another friend card for you tonight and it was created using the fabulous sketch from fabfridays. It's a great sketch. In fact, I loved it so much I made two cards with it!
I'd been looking at the rainbow paper in the Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP pack, but it has lots of whales and things on it. This sketch, and a sentiment I had seen in a stamp set I bought, provided me with the opportunity to cut down the DSP and cut out the whales and highlight the rainbows and stars.
I decided to add just a little bling to the rainbows and stars with my gelly roller. Ooo… and take a look at the raindrops… remember those!
Isn't that sentiment fabulous? It's also perfect with the DSP. Now, of course, I had to continue the thought on the inside.
Now, ain't that the truth? True friends really are there to cheer us after a storm. I stamped the raindrops from the stamp set on the bottom left corner – because they matched the raindrops on the DSP!
Don't forget to pop along to Fabfridays and check out the fabulous design team and submission cards.
On a personal note:
Remember I said it was going to snow? Well, we've been advised that anywhere between 8 and 15 inches is likely! Are you kidding me? Seriously? It's the middle of April and I want some sun and warm weather and I want it now. Stamp. Stamp. Pout. Pout! I went out to put the garbage cans on the curb and bring in the post and noticed that it was already starting to spot! It's almost 7pm and the building crew next door are desperately trying to get the roof on our neighbors new house. Oh. Looking out of the window and I can see the snow starting!
As always, thank you for stopping by and thank you to all of you who have taken the time to leave comments on my cards the last couple of days. You know I really do appreciate it.
I'll be back on Friday with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight. Special prayers for Carol P.
Hugs
Jaydee

Such cute paper!! (and cards). Sorry you’re getting snow. Here in California (Sacramento area) it was 86 today! I’m NOT a summer girl, so I’m not happy … fall and spring – those are my seasons. But I hope it warms up for you soon!
Oh, I luv, luv, your card and such a wonderful sentiment.
This weather is crazy all over I think.
Tuesday we where 80 deg and then had thunderstorms move in early Wed morning and waking up to temperature in the mid 40’s with chance of possible freeze last night and here my roses and irises are blooming but then it’s Texas, so a person just never knows what the weather is going to do here. Wearing shorts one day, sweat pants the next.
May you have a wonderful day, better day tomorrow and wishing one heck of a fantastic weekend.

I do love that DSP and love they way you highlighted the best parts. :o)
Snow? You poor thing! Of course, here I was grousing and whining about the crubby weather we’ve been having, and lo and behold, I had to eat my words and turn my a/c on. It was about 90 degrees in Beanie’s room! It hit 93 yesterday–a record high. I think what I had been hoping, nay, LONGING for had been those glorious spring temps, not a jump right into summer. Gah!
Good luck with that snow…
Hugs!
P.S. Hi Lou! :o)
I love what you did with the dsp! The glittery rainbows look beautiful, and your sentiment is perfect for this card. Thanks for playing along at Fab Friday!
Snow in April? What’s up with that. That storm moving through is something. In VA it is in the 80’s. Love your card.
Sorry to hear about your snow. Once April arrives everyone is ready for some spring weather! We skipped spring here and hit 90 in Richmond yesterday! Your card is nice and refreshing! =) Love the sentiment to match the DSP! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
