Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday night.
This is going to be a quick post tonight as I have contracted something and am not feeling well!
I wanted to share one of the cards I made for the EM card drive using the Botanical Silhouettes PTI Anniversary set from a couple of years ago. I didn't earn this set, but managed to get it on eBay. As I've said before, the EM card drive gave me the opportunity to use up card stock that I don't normally use. Poppy Parade is one of those! I combined it with an old embossing folder – and this is what I made
I really thought that PP worked so well – there was something about the background embossing that seemed to make it less bright… I have no idea why! :-) Maybe it's because I used Naturals White for the card tag, it's softer than Whisper White??? You can see that I'm having issues with my photo editing software again! So, I had to edit this card using typepad's photo editor and couldn't add my usual watermark!
I did want to share a photo with you tonight. I heard this dreadful noise coming from the front porch. I sneaked out… and what did I see?
Silly elf! Luckily he has soft hands, so he wasn't making enough noise to wake up the neighbors! Don't you love his little hat? I do. I love his little face and you can see that he was really enjoying himself. I wonder what he will get up to tonight!
As always, thank you for visiting my little area of the stamping blogosphere. Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Have a wonderful Friday!
Hugs
Jaydee

I think the naturals white toned it down because the contrast between the two isn’t as intense. And, maybe the embossing refracts the light in such a way…
Whatever the cause, it’s a lovely card. :o)
I’m so sorry you’re ill. I hope you’re on the mend quickly!
Oh, Buzbee, you silly boy! Drumming in the middle of the night! What will you think of next?
He DOES have the most winsome little face, doesn’t he? :o)
Hugs!
P.S. Hello, Lou! I hope all’s well with you and you don’t fall ill as well. YIKES!
Hi Jaydee! Beautiful cas card. Love the flower stamp and pretty font style. Your little elf is quite naughty drumming outside to scare Mr. Fox! lol. Hope you are feeling better today. Prayers for healing sent your way.
Hugs and prayers to you. Hope you are well very soon.
Poppy Parade is a color that is not my favorite either-but it works for this card for sure! I think the embossing and also the tag just help it and all combined turns out to be a lovely card.
What a mischievous little elf you have!
Hope you are feeling better to be able to enjoy this weekend.
