Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday. I have a quick card for you tonight. I actually made this for the Merry Monday sketch challenge last week, but am waaaaaay too late for the challenge! 🙂
I used the MDS Digital download Mistletoe and used MDS to size it – and color it – exactly to my specifications! I really love the new feature in MDS 2 that it has a paintbrush and you can color different parts of the image with different inks. You can see that I did that with this particular version of the image. I used Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse and my favorite Gumball Green.
I used an old embossing folder to create mistletoe on the base layer and, of course, had to add a little bit of bling with a snowflake made from Silver Glimmer Paper and a couple of basic rhinestones where the dot on the "i" would normally be. here's my card
Aren't those colors gorgeous together? I really love this image and am really in love with the colors.
On a personal note:
Over the next few weeks, most of the cards that I will be making will be for Enchanted Makeovers. I want to thank those of you who have already offered to submit cards for this card drive. Tomorrow night I will be putting up a post that will have a list of Frequently Asked Questions, details of the drive, links to Enchanted Makeovers, the names of the fabulous people who are offering to send cards….all the info that you need to know. This will make it a one stop shop for you in case you need to reference the information. So, look out for that tomorrow night.
So far I have made 40 cards for the drive. I'm trying to set a goal of 100 cards per week. I really hope to make that number, but it's going to take some effort as I am starting from scratch as all my other cards have already been packaged up and are ready to go to OWH.

I think I’ve missed the info on Enchanted Makeovers and will need to be looking into that. I’m so sorry I missed the OWH drive–things have been hectic over this way. :oS

Nice card and love the layout and colors. Cute use of the snow flurry die piece and ribbon too. I am all thumbs with bows so a nice straight piece looks great.
