Hi Everyone.
Happy Thursday.
I am currently in the middle of unpacking all my crafting goodies. I promised myself that I wouldn't start on unpacking those until I had unpacked the majority of the boxes for the pantry, kitchen and master walk-in-closet. Well…. I sort of kept to that:-) Lou put up my cabinet for me this evening and I unpacked many of my boxes and now have access to DSP, ribbon, buttons, card stock, stamps and even my big shot. I also found the transfer mechanism for getting photographs off my phone and onto my iMac. Which is all great…. .except…. I can't find the keyboard – or mouse – for my iMac. mmmmm….. Apple's are wonderful, but you do need or or the other :-) So, Lou and I are sending out a search party for a missing mouse and keyboard!
Today we have been the owners of this wonderful new home for a whole week. We are still surrounded by boxes and have no furniture….. but we are LOVING being here. We have seen so much wildlife and, as soon as I can find the keyboard and mouse, I will share some pictures with you.
Whilst I was unpacking my crafting goodies this evening, I got so excited at the thought of putting ink to paper again and doing something creative. Setting up my craft room is such fun and I think I'm going to enjoy working in that space and being able to watch the critters in the garden. I also have a great view of the Robin's nesting under the deck. We had to put off staining the deck because I didn't want to hurt the Robin's and their eggs. So, once they have hatched and have flown the nest, then we will stain the deck. In the meantime, I get to watch the parents flit in and out from my crafting table.

How delightful to get to watch baby robins grow up! They sure are ugly little things when they’re first born–most newborns are, though, aren’t they?–but they grow to be the fluffiest, cutest things. :o)

Hugs back to you! It’s good to hear how things are going. Can’t wait for pictures. Love the robin story – I have one too. My daughter never took down her real Christmas wreath on the front door. Long ago it turned brown; now robins have made their nest and there are two eggs! We can see them through the glass windows in the door, which is now off limits. The cats can see the parents flitting about too! What funny noises the fur babies make.
