I have one more card for you before I "go dark" on the card front. Tonight, I have to finish packing up all of my crafting stuff and breaking down my crafting station and my crafting cupboard. The removal guys come on Friday morning to get everything stored and ready for us to move. So, I am going to be without anything to make cards… well physical cards that is. I can always do MDS projects, but somehow I love the feel of ink and ribbon on paper – even when I use MDS elements.
However, I did want to create a card to thank those of you who are hanging with me and being so patient whilst we go through this move. I know it's really frustrating when people don't blog daily, especially when you are used to me being fairly consistent. So, I want to dedicate this card to all of you wonderful people who are being so patient.
My challenge across at the Paper Players this week is to create a clean and simple card using the watercoloring technique. This card certainly fits that bill. Don't forget to pop along to the Paper Players and join us this week.
I used Pear Pizzazz as my base and ran it through my Big Shot with the polka dots embossing folder. The focal point base is watercolor paper and I used Bashful Blue and Pear Pizzazz as the two colors on the base. The SU inks work wonderfully well with the Aquapainter and it's a breeze to create this look on watercolor paper. All I needed to do was stamp the sheep, use a little Le Pouf to create the fleece, fussy cut around it and pop it up on Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sun was created by watercoloring Daffodil Delight onto watercolor card stock and cutting out a circle with my punch. Once I had done that, I realized that just a slither of Basic Black was required to frame the whole image.

I know that several of you are having problems commenting on my blog, too. Typepad has decided to force the reCaptcha from Google on us as the spam filter. It's a ridiculous filter and I absolutely hate it. The only option I have is to have no filter at all. So, I'm really torn as to what to do. If I take off the filter altogether, the Spam is outrageous. If I leave the filter on, then it makes it tough for some to comment. I'll have to think about what to do for a while. But I do apologize to those of you having issues.
On a personal note:
Lou and I had a quick visit up to the house this weekend. We drove past the newly installed letter box and I screamed, "stop!" "Oh heavens! It's Rich Razzleberry!" Lou looked at me as though I was a complete nutter and asked me what I was talking about…… well, you tell me if this isn't Rich Razzleberry!
I know in the photo it looks a little more Bravo Burgundy than Rich Razzleberry, but it's really much brighter IRL. I'm really not sure what I think about it! it certainly doesn't go with our color scheme!
I had to take a photo of this, too. When we drove up the cul de sac this is how many cars there were in the cul de sac. All of these cars had carried people who were working on our house that day!
Isn't that crazy 🙂
Anyway, from now on, for the next three weeks, I will be popping in but you will have to put up with me rabbiting on instead of showing you cards. I'm thinking of some things I can do to spice it up a little during that time. Especially as I found all sorts of wonderful goodies in my crafting space that I might like to share 🙂

Jaydee, I will miss your daily posts but know it is for a good reason. I’m looking forward to your pictures and experiences this move will bring. Best wishes, and have fun with it. Things may be hectic but it will all be good in the end.

I will miss your daily posts, but the move and the house need to be your focus right now. I am entirely jealous (just a little) but super excited for you and your hubby. I hope it’s a smooth transition. Will (try) to be patient until your regular return. Until then, will take what I can get.
