Hi Everyone.
I hope you are all having a wonderful day. The weather has been glorious here, there is a slight chill in the air and it was down to 40 degrees last night. I hope that all of my readers on the East Coast are restored back to power. I hope those in Texas are safe from the fires.
Now, I know that you didn't want to talk about weather tonight…. I am sure there is another reason altogether that you came to this post…mmm…. I wonder what it could be???? Oh…. mmmm.. yes… I remember now…. you wanted to know who the winners of the Stampin' Up! shopping spree are. My faithful helper Bilbo Baggins is the veritable Vanna White of drawing names and drew our two winners.
Well, with a drum roll please…
we have our first prize winner. A shopping spree worth $100 of product from the current 2011/2012 or Holiday Mini Catalogs is
CINDY S
Then, we have our second prize winner…. A shoppping spree worth $50 of product from the current 2011/2012 or Holiday Mini Catalogs is
MARCIA
Congratulations to both Cindy and Marcia. Please think about what it is that you would like to purchase and then send me an email with your choices. I will be placing your order on October 1, 2011 – so you have a couple of weeks to mull over your choices.
To everyone else who contributed, a huge thank you. I have a little gift for each of you and will be putting that into the post over the next couple of weeks. Just a little something from convention to say thank you very, very much.
I will not be revealing the total of cards received just yet….. We still have two more parcels of cards coming. I received RACH's today. Thank you, Rach. I really appreciate that you supported the card drive again and you made over 50 service men/women very, very happy. YOU ROCK.
In addition, there are still two more boxes of cards coming…. SOOZIE and ANN MARIE. Both of their collections will be arriving within the next week. So, I will combine the total from all of the cards you have sent in, plus the cards that I am donating – and give you a grand total when everyone is accounted for. I can tell you though… it's a jolly good number!!!!!!
I will be organizing another card drive after Christmas. That way, we can collect cards for Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduation, plus the general cards. So, if you were not able to contribute this time, you will have another chance after Christmas.
My thanks to all of you… .. once again….the cards you sent were fabulous.
Hugs
Jaydee
