Paper Florist dies for Paper Players #651

Happy Sunday.

It’s my turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and today’s card is much less CAS than my usual style!  Our Tic Tac Toe board for this week inspired me to bring out a new set of dies called Paper Florist and mix them with some DSP from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP pack.

And here is our Tic Tac Toe board for this week’s challenge:

For my card I went with yellow, diecuts and feminine – right across the middle.

I die-cut and inked up all of the floral elements.  It took a while but I think it’s worth the trouble as these blooms are really pretty.  I chose a piece of polka dot DSP from the DSP pack and added some more dots to the white piece using an old embossing folder.  The sentiment was stamped and die-cut from the Charming Sentiments set.

Here’s my card:

i hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week, we would love to see what you create with our Tic Tac Toe board.

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Oooo, I love the polka dots, Jaydee. The colors you used are just fabulous. I love this die set and you used it well.

  2. What a fun card, Jaydee! I love the embossed dots and the crushed curry layer with white splotches. The flowers are beautiful and the diecut sentiment is sweet. Enjoy your day!

  3. Jaydee…What an absolutely amazing card! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. These colors really “pop”! I just got these dies, and I can’t wait to use them. You are such an inspiration! Thank you for the wonderful challenge!

  4. Jaydee, yes, those blooms are really pretty, but I especially love the doubling up on the polka dots! That particular tone of yellow-gold is my absolute favorite tone of yellow – especially when combined with white. This card makes me happy!
    Xoxo, Fran

  5. I love, love, love this card Jaydee! I’m a big fan of yellow, and I love the dots-on-dots with the DSP and EF. Those flowers frame your central panel beautifully too – they are so fun to experiment with, aren’t they? Endless creative possibilities!
