Happy Saturday.
I have a quick post for you today. I managed to get into my craft room to play today – the first time in a week or so. I went looking for some inspiration and found some across at Freshly Made Sketches. The sketch inspired me to ink up the Sweet Citrus stamp and die set as well as the accompanying embossing folder.
And here’s the sketch from Freshly Made:
I really liked the idea of leaving the bottom blank. I actually made two versions of this card – a very clean and simple one as well as one with a little bit extra! Once I compared the two, I actually preferred the one with the little bit extra!
I embossed a piece of white card stock with the embossing folder and cut it in half. I used a sponge dauber to add a little color to the elements and then adhered it to the base of the card. I used a Simon Says Stamp scallop border die to create a litttle interest on the bottom and I popped it up with a couple of extra pieces of card stock. I stamped the sentiment and then added the stamped and die-cut pieces with some foam dots.

Such a fun set and I just love that embossing folder!

I really like both, though the first bright one is my favorite.
