Spellbinders Ingredients Buddies for Addicted to CAS Challenge #300

Happy Saturday and welcome to our 300th challenge. I can’t believe it is our 300th challenge, and I get to be the host! And, because it is a celebratory challenge, I choose a code word that seems to accompany every celebration! For my card I brought out a fabulous die set from Spellbinders called Ingredient Buddies. Here’s a sneak peek:

I was really tempted to go with a cake, but decided that, cos I absolutely LOVE Italian food – (seriously those guys know what the heck to do with a vegetable to make it taste insanely good!), I decided that the absolutely adorable Spellbinders set called Ingredient Buddies had to make an appearance.

I mean, who can resist a farfallo, a tomato and a garlic with little legs and arms! Oh, yeah, and they are also carrying essential ingredients for any good Italian dish, mushrooms and basil!

I die-cut the elements and added shading where necessary. I then put all the pieces together, including their skinny little arms and legs! I created a background using an Altenew stencil called Checkerboard Tiles. Reminded me of the ubiquitous checkered table cloths in some “Italian” restaurants! Once all the elements were on the card, all I needed to do was add the punny sentiment!
