Happy Thursday.
We have another fun challenge for you across at Time Out this week and it inspired me to bring out one of my all time favorite stamp sets. I saw this Cozy Cup set on a challenge card for the Paper Players years ago and fell so in love with the card that I had to go off and find the set. It’s survived every single twice yearly purge of my goodies and will be with me until I can no longer craft. Yeah, I love it THAT much 🙂
Here’s a sneak peek:

Oh this coffee cup still makes my heart happy!
Here’s the challenge badge for our challenge this week:

We are also sponsored by my fabulous team mate Carol McFarland. She has a wonderful handmade wine/bottle bag that will be sent to the winner of our challenge this week. The winner will also be invited to join us as a Guest Designer for a future challenge! I love the idea of presenting a bottle of wine/or your favorite bottled beverage, to the hostess in a wonderful bag.
For my card I used a background stencil to stencil some tone on tone hearts onto a pink base. I then stamped and die-cut the coffee cup, and leaf. I also die-cut the placemat from some striped patterned paper I have in my stash.
Here’s my full card:

I hope you will check out the fabulous cards from our design team.
We are joined by Joanne James of The Crafty Owl, and winner of Time Out #309 as Guest Designer. Joanne is a very talented crafter and a frequent player at Time Out. We are very excited to have her with us as Guest Designer for this challenge. Her wonderful floral card is definitely worth a visit!
I’ll be back with another card for the Addicted to CAS challenge on Saturday. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Card recipe:
- Stamps and dies: Cozy Cup – The Greetery
- Background stencil: Overlapping Hearts – Waffle Flower

Jaydee, I have loved this set fo a long time and am happy you brought it back in these calming colors. The subtle stenciling in the background goes well with the pretty napkin and the cup & saucer. Very pretty card with your favorite “cup of” as the center of it.
Simply adorable! I love the scene plus emotions that this card evokes — it brings back fond memories of my MIL who passed quite a few years ago. She would always graciously use her specialty cups and have tea parties with my 3 girls, and a herd of stuffed bears ❤️ I love the soft colors too.
I love this cozy cup and the coaster every bit as much as you do, Jaydee. I just made 60 thank you notes with these stamps and dies as a shower gift for my cousin’s daughter. I LOVE the way they turned out. And I love the way YOUR card turned out. Love the stenciled background and your color choices. Fabulous card for our challenge!!
What a beautiful card Jaydee! I love the soft colours you have used that gives a wonderful calming effect. Just the way a warm cup of tea or coffee can make you feel! Love it! HOpe you have a good day and get to enjoy a calming cuppa! 🙂
This is my fave coffee set and I love how you used it! The pink colour scheme is so gorgeous!
Beautifully designed card, Jaydee. The soft colors and place setting arrangement, along with the curved sentiment ,made a fabulous card.
