Happy Sunday.
It’s the fabulous Joanne’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it’s sketch week. I have absolutely no idea why I decided to use the fancy heart die from Endless Love for this card and with patterned paper. So unlike me…. oh… and yeah… it’s pink! Those of you who have followed me for a while know that pink isn’t usually my color. I don’t know…. maybe it’s the heat 🙂
Mind you, I do love this fancy heart! Here’s a sneak peek:

And here’s Joanne’s sketch:

I used an old SU embossing folder to create some texture in the background. I then dug up this very old piece of patterned paper – and I cannot even remember which SU set it came from!
I then die-cut a full heart die from vellum and then the fancy heart was die-cut with pink card stock. I adhered everything to the base and then added a sentiment from The Ton Easy Expression stamp and die set.
Here’s my full card:

It’s a great sketch and I cannot wait to see what YOU do with it. As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
I’ll be back with another card tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Pretty in pink, Jaydee! That sketchy heart die is so cute and I do like the patterned paper you used, very pretty! That embossed background adds so much fun texture. Great use of the sketch. Have a wonderful week!
I am glad you embraced the pink, Jaydee! This is such a lovely card—I totally do NOT remember that DSP but it certainly is very pretty! I think the heart works perfectly with it, as does that background embossing!
