Happy Saturday.
I have a quick post for you today featuring a set that I received as part of the Summer Camp virtual retreat with Concord and 9th. This is such a fun set and unlike anything I already have. It features stencils that allow you to create a coconut, watermelon or pineapple for your fancy adult – or otherwise – drink! The set is called Summer Sips and I thought it was perfect for the sketch across at FreshlyMade.
Here’s a sneak peek:

And here’s the great sketch from FreshlyMade:

I began by stenciling the watermelon and then die-cutting it. I love that the stencil has a shadow section that you can add to your chosen fruit receptacle! I then die-cut the other pieces and arranged them to form the drink.
I stamped and die-cut the sentiment and decided that I needed something to ground the focal image, so I added a few sunrays behind the fruit – I just thought a little bit of sunshine was required with a tropical drink!
I added a yellow strip to also help anchor the focal layer, and conform to the sketch.
Here’s my full card:

Isn’t that a cool set? Great sketch, too!
I’ll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
