Top Down for Color Throwdown #657

Happy Wednesday.

I am thrilled to be guesting across at Color Throwdown this week!  What an honor and I had such fun playing around this these great colors.  Thanks to the design team at CTD for having me along as their guest designer this week!

Firstly… aren't those ookies awesome?  They just make me smile.  I had such fun playing with these colors and they were a great excuse to feature a turquoise car, red balloons.. green top, glasses and scarf and grey cobblestones!  I brought out a set I haven't used yet called Top Down and paired the with Silver Lining Dies and the Pathway stencil.

I die-cut the clouds and colored them with Pool Party – a nice soft turquoise color from SU.  I colored the car a darker turquoise and the balloons were three shades of copic red.  The green outerwear for my very stylish driver were colored using my Copic markers and the cobblestones were greys from Altenew.

Of course… the balloons had to have a little shimmer and shine!  The coloring on the balloons really does give them some dimensionality and the shimmer really does add that little something!

I had such fun building this little scene… and I almost NEVER "do" scenes as they scare me!  But here's my card:
