Botanicuts Toadstool for Addicted to CAS #205

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Toni's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and this is her code word:

Now, there are so many places to go with Nature as the code word…. for me… I went with toadstools!  It was a great excuse to die cut some paper and spend some time ink blending these die cuts from The Greetery.   I almost never use kraft as a card base, but these toadstools seemed perfect with it as a base color.  I used an oval die to emboss a place for my toadstools and added a little shading behind them.

Here's my card:

I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week.  We'd love to see what you create with this code word.  I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. What a great card. I love the use of Kraft, and the oval – makes the toadstools really pop out.

  2. Looks like you just picked them out of the ground. Fantastic coloring. Love the crumb cake cardstick to make it so realistic.

  3. Jaydee, every time I see those toadstools I think I better order them. They are so darn cute. The oval in the center really sets them off. Have a great week.
