It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week:
This felt like a masculine color scheme and I ended up making two different cards using these colors. In the end I decided to go with the Pampered Pets version for the challenge, but also have the one made using Game On for you. SO, it's a twofer night 🙂
Firstly, here's my Pampered Pets version. I have to tell you I am in love with the little trinkets that come with this suite. I can't seem to make a card with this set and not use them 🙂
I don't have tranquil tide in my stash, so used the nearest color that I could find. I used grey markers to color both the dog and cat and put them onto a grey base.
Here's my Game On version. I used the Dazzling Diamonds embossing folder to add interest to the white layer and Tasteful Textiles for the grey layer. I then fussy cut and popped up the cards.

On a personal note:
I have no idea where this week went! Well, I think I do. My company recently laid off between 10 and 20 thousand co-workers two weeks ago, and, of course, the work just gets redistributed. Add the extra workload to the emotional impact of the lay-off and I think that's kind of where the week went.
So, I am going to escape to my craft room today and also go and sit in our garden and enjoy this beautiful day. We have low humidity and highs in the mid-70s. Perfect weather. If the inspiration strikes, then I will have some cards to share with you during the week! In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today. Have a beautiful Sunday.

Two fabulous cards Jaydee – you totally persuaded me to add the Pampered Pets bundle to my order this week – you are totally rocking this set and this is another great example! Those little charms are adorable too!
I love both of your cards, Jaydee! But I have to agree that the pets steal the show. Love those little trinkets, too. I completely forgot I had them for my card. Lol! Is that a sign that’s it’s time to clean the craft room? I think so! You’ve also convinced me to buy that game night stamp set. So many new stamps, so little time. Haha!
