I have a quick post for you today. When I was crafting this weekend, I went looking for some inspiration in the form of challenges and saw this great sketch across at Casethissketch:
The shape reminded me of one of the new dies that I got recently from Stampin' Up! called Frosted Frames. So, that was the starting point for my card. It took me a little time to work out what I wanted to do, but was inspired by some of the DSP that I got in that same shipment. I realized that there was a piece in the See a Silhouette DSP that reminded me of crashing waves and I decided to pair it with the lighthouse from Sailing Home.
Here's a closeup of the DSP:
As you can see, I finished it off with a sentiment from Altenew's Label Love. Here's my full card:
I colored the lighthouse with my pencils and then mounted the focal images onto a piece of soft grey card stock from SimonSayStamps.
I really do love the Sailing Home set and think it's going to be one of those sets that will be around for a while in my crafting cupboard 🙂
