Happy Friday.
It's another challenge across at CAS Colors and Sketches and their bright, spring colors inspired me to make a card using the Amazing Things set from Pinkfresh Studio. I just love this set and I know you will see a lot of it. Here's a sneak peek:
Just in case you were wondering what the color combo might be :-). Here's the challenge from CAS Colors and Sketches:
I hotfoiled the image using the betterpress plate and platinum foil. I then used the stencils that match the stamp set and focused on the three colors from the challenge. To get the variation in the flowers I used the same color, but used a very light hand for the first stencil, a slightly heavier hand for the second stencil and then full color for the third. The various stencils that come with the set make it really easy to get multiple colors from a single color.
To add some visual interst (although you can't really see it on this photo), I added some vertical lines down the middle of the card. They add texture and interest, but also provide a place to ground the image.
Here's my card:
I know the team across at CAS Colors and Sketches would love to see your creations! I'll be back tomorrow with by Addicted to CAS card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Love how you’ve used the berry burst colour with variations in depth, Jaydee, it gives so much interest. Beautifully coloured leaves too. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CC&S
An absolutely stunning floral! Thanks for playing along with my colour choices at CAS Colours & Sketches!
