Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday.
It's my turn to host the Paper Players challenge this week and I have a theme challenge for you.
I know I've said this before, but Nance does an amazing job with our badges every week and this week is no exception 🙂
I needed a birthday card for my bestie, Pammie. Pammie is always made up, nails done, clothing just right – so I thought this Beautiful You set would be perfect, especially paired with the Mediterranean Moments in the background. Pammie has already received her card, so it's safe to show you all:-)
I kept to a fairly quite color scheme, with minimal coloring, so that the glamorous focal point could take center stage – just as she should.
I carried the red through to a mat layer and the sentiment. Here's a look at the outside of my card:
Here's a look at the inside – before I wrote my message:
I hope you will join us this week. As usual, if you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than our amazing design team:
On a personal note:
Oh… it has been glorious here today. Sunny, low humidity, in the 80s. G L O R I O U S! The trees are in full leaf and the grasses, shrubs and plants are really starting to grow now. We have several pair of Orioles visiting the jelly feeder along with Robins, Yellowbellied Sapsucker, Downy Woodpecker, Red Headed Woodpecker, Red bellied Woodpecker, Purple Finch, Catbird and an unknown bird!
The Orioles start nagging for us to fill up the jelly feeder at around 5.30 in the morning!
The Redbellied is quite happy to make do with the orange if the jelly is running low:
I love sitting at the dinette table watching the comings and goings at the jelly feeder. It never, ever gets boring!
I spent some time in my craft room over the last couple of days making cards for Cards for Hospitalized Cards and Card Care Connection. When things are crazy strange in my life, I like to make cards for these charities as it really helps to put my mind in the right place and get things into perspective.
Consequently, I will have some cards to share with you this week – as well as some blooper wildlife shots. I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

This is such a fun card! I love that set…such a great image. I agree…Nance does come up with awesome badges!
Have a great week!
Your card is very elegant and I am sure Pammie loved it! I love the bird photos…I am (again) jealous that your orioles come to your jelly. I haven’t seen or heard nary a one this year…I think the construction has scared them away, LOL!
I’ve seen a few cards where these two stamped images have been combined Jaydee but yours is definitely the best one by far – I love the way you used the colour red, both for the lady and the frame and sentiment, to tie everything together. Just fabulous – I sure hope Pammie liked it!
This is, by far, the best card I have seen with either of these stamp sets. Just gorgeous, Jaydee. I love that you kept the coloring to a minimum and really let this gorgeous gal shine. Bravo!
WOW!!! Gorgeous scene!!! Love the background city view and red OMG!!!
Jaydee, this is a fantastic challenge! I love your card! I just broke down and bought this set. Now, I may have to have that background. Your card is so stylish and fun! I love the red dress. Your friend, Pammie will cherish this special card. WOW! I hope you have a marvelous weekend! The backyard visitors are fabulous. Great shots of these beauties! XXX
I bet your friend will LOVE this card! And great birdie photos 🙂
