Hi Everyone. Just popping in to wish you all a very belated Merry Christmas. Lou and I hope you had a wonderful day and managed to spend time doing the things you love with those you love.
It was a huge rush for us to get the house ready for Christmas. With Lou having been on the road for the 3 weeks leading up to Christmas, and me working right through the end of the week, even though I had not intended to do so… it left us very little time to get everything ready. But… get everything ready we did!
We spent Christmas Eve with friends and had a romantic, very special, Christmas for two at home. We had a late afternoon dinner and set the table and dressed up the dining room with lots of twinkling lights and candles. They all reflected off the glass top table and the mirror and we could see the lights shining on the tree and columns outside. Having snow on the ground really helped the overall ambience.
Here are a couple of quick photos for you
It really was so pretty with the sun setting and the ouside lights on the Christmas tree. I placed a fabulous angel we found at Kowalski's on the table to look over us – you can just see her.
The sun was setting very quickly, and as it got darker, the candles and lights in the dining room sparkled brighter. It really was pretty magical. A lovely, cozy room, set for a romantic Christmas dinner for two!
So, from our home to yours a very Merry Christmas! I'll be back tomorrow with a card.
Hugs
Jaydee

Your dining room looks so pretty with all the candle light. And I see snow outside. What a beautiful setting. No snow here in VA, just rain! Happy New Year,
