Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. Hope you are all having a great week. Us? Well, it's been close to -30 with windchill and we are prepping for the next storm, along with much of the rest of the country!
The challenge across at cas-ual fridays this week is to create a clean and simple card using black and white and 1 other color.
Well, I couldn't wait to take up that challenge. I had purchased a super cool embossing folder this weekend. I was in buying a copic marker and this embossing folder was at the checkout calling my name! Honestly, I can avoid chocolate at the checkout counter, why can't I avoid an embossing folder? 🙂
This challenge was a great excuse to use it. So, here's much masculine, CAS card using black, white and a little bit of red!
I'm sorry the photo isn't so great. I just couldn't get a decent, bright photo without losing the detail of the embossing folder, which seemed to defeat the object 🙂

Longing the embossing folder! I’m so glad we’re in Florida missing a wee bit of an already, way too long winter! Great card, like the buttons too, as well as the colour combo!
Like the simplicity of your card along with the embossing folder.
Just something about black and white cards that make them look so elegant and that red heart….nice touch.

I share your weakness – I don’t think I’ve met an embossing folder I didn’t like LOL!! Your new one is terrific and I love the space for the sentiment. Beautifully done for the challenge too, with the cute and sassy red heart!
