Happy Friday.
It’s another challenge at Festive Friday. Festive Friday is a bi-weekly card making challenge where we celebrate holidays/festivities from around the world. You don’t have to follow the theme with your creation, just choose three items from our INSPO list and use those on your project.
For my card I used a set called Brewed for You from Stampin’ Up! I paired it with an old piece of DSP from SU that is so old, I can’t remember what it was called! But it was perfect as a backdrop to my beer 🙂
So, I think you must have guessed that beer has something to do with our challenge this week 🙂
I stamped the beer images onto vellum and then colored the back of the glasses with Copic markers. I added the froth from white card stock and heat set white embossing powder. I popped the glasses up with clear foam tape and added the sentiment. I added a little more texture to the oval using a woodgrain stencil – I mean… beer should always be served on a wooden table, right?!

The sentiment caught my eye on this, then I realized it looked familiar and found it in my stash (maybe I need a new filing system, actually a better memory!) Anyway, love how you made the beer mugs and added the dimension on the foam, really nice card!

I love those embossed glasses Jaydee – the embossed vellum with frothy top looks so inviting! I love the wooden ‘table’ too – it gives a real English country pub vibe!
