It's the fabulous Bobby's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and here is her code word:
When I was creating a card for this challenge, I realized that I had no card front sentiments that fit that challenge. Then I thought about it…. why do you have to use a "headline" sentiment. What's wrong with using the sentiments that were meant more for "internal" and change it up and use it for the front of the card. Well, that was my thinking, anyway!
I used a "Merry Christmas" from the Altenew set – Beautiful Inside and Out and paired it with a smaller sentiment. I paired that with a piece of beautiful Stampin' Up! paper from the "Feels like Frost" paper set.
Here's my card:
I tied both pieces together with stitched rectangle dies. I love the soft, serene look of the card.

Wow – I love this card!! I saw it on the Addicted to CAS email and just had to see what items you used to create it. I have this paper from Stampin Up and just LOVE IT. I would love to know which stamp set you used for the greeting beneath the Merry Christmas stamp. It’s such a lovely saying and the font on this one is spectacular. I make a LOT of cards to send to the military and this saying is PERFECT to include on those cards. If you can, please let me know. GREAT JOB ON THE CARD!
