Happy Thursday.
I have a quick post for you today. I saw a great sketch across at Atlantic Hearts and serendipitously had a die set open on my desk that I thought would work perfectly for the sketch. It’s from Concord and 9th and is called Festive Snow Globe. I have some La-La-Land papers that I love and I thought they would also work perfectly for the snow globe and the sketch.
Here’s a sneak peek:

I just love this paper and this sketch was the perfect excuse to open up the pack and let it shine.
Here’s the sketch from the talented team at AHS:

I began by die-cutting the snow globe elements from Indigo card stock and then used the smaller circular die from the set to die-cut the scene for the snow globe. I die-cut the merry from the same set and then die-cut it again with metallic gold card stock and inserted that into the negative space.
I then found a matching piece of La-La-Land paper and cut that into two to emulate the sketch. I was able to cut it in such a way that I got trees on both sides of the snow globe.
To finish off my card I added a metallic gold star and some metallic gold dots scattered around the snow globe scene.
Here’s my full card:

I know the team across at AHS would love it if you played along! I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
