Happy Wednesday.
I have a quick post for you tonight. I managed to spend time in my craft room in between housework. I don’t know what it is about this time of the year, but I am itching to do some spring cleaning! In the middle of that I decided it was time to take a little break and get creative. I went looking for some challenges and found a fun sketch at Freshly Made.
I brought out a pretty new set called Tweet Life from Concord and 9th. I also brought out a stencil that was part of the crafty box that I received from Jennifer McGuire. I still don’t think I have used all the things I decided to keep in that box yet 🙂
Here’s a sneak peek:

I love these tweet little birds :-). Oh, I also needed some color inspiration so I went searching throuh my Color Cubes from Sarah Renae Clark and pulled out color #220 from the original set.
Here’s the sketch from Freshly Made

I stenciled the birds based on the inspiration colors and then added their stamped feet, beak and details. Once the ink was dry, I took my MFT Paint Strokes stencil to create the frames around each bird to represent the sketch. I then added a sentiment from the same set and backed it with a little Cloud Cover cardstock from Stampin’ Up!

Aren’t they just the cutest? I do wish that Concord and 9th had created a die for them though!
Oh, and here’s the color inspiration:

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
