Happy Sunday.
It’s the fabulous LeAnne’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it’s clean and simple theme week.
LeAnne’s theme was perfect for the Concord and 9th Beach Day set. I had fun playing with beach umbrellas and seagulls! Here’s a sneak peek:
I began by cutting a panel to act as the focal layer. I added kraft card stock to the bottom of the panel and ink blended the top to look like the sky.
I die cut two umbrellas, the seagull and a circle from yellow cardstock for the sun. I added a sentiment to the bottom panel and then added the elements popping some of them up with foam dots.

What a bright and cheery card, Jaydee! Someone will be receiving a major dose of sunshine in the mail. I love the subtle blending of the sky. The gull on the umbrella adds a sweet touch of whimsy. Have a wonderful week!
Lovely! I’m transported to somewhere warm and sunny with this card – really needed that today because it’s very cold and very bleak out the window! I like that wide border around the central panel as it really gives the scene some room to breathe. 🙂
