Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday night.
Quick post for you tonight.
I only recently purchased this stamp set. In fact, I bought it because it was part of the Holiday Bundles that SU was offering. The Contempo Christmas set and Jolly Holiday DSP. Who could resist a discount on these two?
Here's what I came up with.
Card Recipe:
- Card stock: Old Olive, Very Vanilla
- DSP: Jolly Holiday
- Stamps: Contempo Christmas
- Inks: Old Olive
- Accessories: Basic Rhinestones
- Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig, White embossing powder
This card was so simple. It really is. A layer of DSP, stamp the tree three times. Add rhinestones. Stamp the sentiment with versamark, add embossing powder. Heat set. Cut two matt layers. adhere. done! I love the fact that you could do this with a red background instead of the Old Olive – and it would look gorgeous!
On a personal note.
A quick – but very long – three day trip to upstate New York. Long meeting days. Lack of network connection. Having to appear alert and engaged…. oh boy :-) It was great, though. Tomorrow I will be back home.
Continued prayers for Germaine, Pri, Arthur, Rose, Adelle. Hugs and prayers for those of you who need a lift.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday, filled with love and laughter.
Hugs
Jaydee

Really lovely card. Hope you get home safely.
Hi Jaydee! This is one you could make in no time but yet it is still pretty! Thanks for reminding me that simple cards can be just as pretty as fancy ones!
The card is so pretty and yet still clean and simple. Thanks for posting. Have a great day.
Love it, Jaydee! My favorite card that I have seen made with this set!

This is so classy! I love it!
Great card. I’m taking you up on Real Red since I’ve used up all my Old Olive!
LOVE IT! Just so very pretty. Now I’m thinking I need this set!
