Happy Sunday!
It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's theme week. Here's the theme that LeAnne chose:
It was a great excuse for me to bring out a die that I hadn't used before. Delightful Digits from The Greetery. I also used the stamps and dies from Opposites Attract. I was tempted to put the numbers onto a colored base, but decided to go with a white on whit color scheme instead. Here's my card:
I hope you will join us and play along with LeAnne's challenge. We can't wait to see what you create. As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:
On a personal note:
Well, it was a crazy busy week at the office this week, so I wasn't able to get into my craft room at all. However I did get in there yesterday but it took me forever to make two cards! I'm hoping to get in there again today. It really is my little escape and stamping and die-cutting seems to relax me and allows me to escape and switch off for a few hours.
The weather is almost fall like. It has been much, much cooler. In fact, it dropped almost 30 degrees over a couple of days. After the stifling heat and humidity of the summer, I am really enjoying these cooler days.
All our birds have left and the garden is really quiet. With all of the construction and opening of new areas around us, our wildlife situation is very, very different to when we first arrived – or even up until a couple of years ago. We do still get deer – but the few that we do get tend to come around only at night. We have only seen the raccoon once this summer and had a quick glimpse of the opposum . All of the native – and more interesting – squirrels have disappeared and we are left with only the grey and black. Our chipmunks disappeared several years ago and have never returned. The garden really isn't the same without them. Which is why you aren't seeing photos of them on my blog!
I hope you are all having a wonderful long weekend. Hopefully, I will get into my craft room and will be able to share a card with you this week. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
