Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday.
I have a card for you tonight that I made using this great sketch from Casethissketch and this great color challenge from Merry Mondays
I hope you will pop along to both challenge sites and play along and, even if you aren't going to play along, you should go and check out the fabulous design team and submission cards. Lots of wonderful inspiration.
On a personal note:
Apparently it is going to get into the 40s for two days this week – before it drops back down into the teens/twenties! Yay!!!! Hopefully some sunshine will come along with the warmer weather. We certainly haven't seen much of that these last couple of days!
I don't know about you all, but I am certainly not ready for Christmas. It really seems to be sneaking up on me this year and I haven't even written Christmas cards and posted them yet. How can I be a card maker and be so behind on sending out cards???!!!!
On top of that, the house is only partly decorated on the inside. We managed to get some decorations up before we had the cold weather and snow, but not as much as we normally do. I think neither of us were quite ready to give up the warmer weather and fall was almost none existent this year. Maybe we thought that if we procrastinated long enough, winter would arrive later 🙂
I did manage to spend some quality time with stamps and inks on Sunday, so will have another couple of cards to share with you this week. It's been so long since I was able to just spend several hours playing in my craft room and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed it. It does seem to take me much longer to make cards when I do it so rarely, though!
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Simply beautiful Jaydee.
Thanks for joining the CTS challenge this week!
Ohhh Jaydee!! . . . you are not only one to be behind with Xmas preparations. I arrived with a very bad flu and the Catholic Relief Xmas Sale had been programmed for the next day after our arrival . . . sooooo . . . I did not go to bed and spend two days at the Sale . . . but it was worth it!!
So many things to do . . . decorating; wrapping gifts; baking cookies; and thinking about Xmas dinner. This year I am having the tree decorated with Peruvian ornaments.
Good luck in your endeavors.
Love,
Marina . . . from far Africa

This is so pretty, Jaydee. Christmas has crept up on me too. Thinking of you ol’ pal! xo
Oh, I love your spray of snowflakes and the stitched frame of foil is just the perfect accent! So good to see you back at Merry Monday!
