Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. YAY! We are on the slide to the weekend 🙂
One of the cards I made this weekend uses the sketch from unscripted sketches

There is some fabulous map paper in the Epic Day DSP pack that I thought would be perfect paired with a sentiment and the bike stamp from PTIs Pedal Pusher.
I decided to have a little fun with the wheels and stamped them onto vellum card stock and adhered them to the bike using little brads.
Here's my card
I used two different papers from the DSP stack – one for the first layer on the crumb cake base and the map piece. I stamped the bike image directly onto the map piece and adhered the (movable) wheels with the brads. I think the vellum works really well as you can still see parts of the map underneath. I really think the sentiment is perfect with the map DSP. You can see that I also used some of the Epic Day washi tape to ground the bike. Again, the great thing about the washi tape, is that you can see the map through parts of it.
The sentiment was stamped onto the back of one of the Epic Day DSPs. I love that the crumb cake color matches the card base, and that it has faint blue Pool Party lines on the DSP.
Don't forget to pop along to unscripted sketches and check out their submission and inspiration cards.
On a personal note:
It's raining again! Seriously, it is really beginning to feel a lot like England. On top of that, the temperatures are pretty cold again! it's great for the wetland though!
Here are a couple of pics of some of our visitors
I know it's out of focus… but I couldn't resist sharing it with you! That little fawn is just too adorable!
the turkey was nestled up in the grasses hiding from the rain. She stayed there until it stopped raining and then went about her day!
As always, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight. Have a beautiful Thursday
Hugs
Jaydee

Are those babies by the turkey?
I was wondering about that little fur ball myself on the left-side of picture.
Jaydee I envy you having all this wonderful wildlife right in your own back yard. My area, we hear coyotes but don’t see any.
Like how you done your card. Very clever using vellum on the wheels. Awesome idea.
Thanks for sharing and may you have a wonderful and enjoyable weekend.

I honestly did a little gasp of delight when I saw this card. The paper is perfect with the bike with the washi with the sentiment. LOVE it!
The little fawn is beyond sweet, and is that a fluffy turkey baby with the mama there in the foreground? I can’t tell…
I’m sorry for all the cold and rain. It seems rather unfair to be living in the States and having UK weather. ;o)
Hugs!
P.S. Hello Lou! I hope all’s well! :o)
I adore this card … the washi road, the amazing sentiment … so glad you joined us at Unscripted Sketches.
Fabulous card as always Jaydee! I love all the elements that you used to make this a wow card.
You are one talented and creative lady and a wonderful photographer as well! I always enjoy your blog posts although often I just look and do not comment. Sorry for that!
This card just flows wonderfully! Love the travel feel of it. Papers are fab!
I just love seeing the photos of what others share your property. Sometimes I don’t stop long enough to enjoy what is on mine.
I love your card, great bike die and background paper. Love the washi tape. You did good following the sketch. Thanks for joining us this week at Unscripted Sketches.
